Dilemma

I swear I'm ALWAYS in a hair dilemma! My main girl is going on maternity leave soon and is only working 3 days a week till 6 and with my full-time job I just can't manage that nor say "I'm sorry I'm leaving early to get my hair did." Nope I wish! So the last few days I have been in search of a new hair girl someone I can trust, someone who isn't going to ruin my hair because their hair looks like shit, and someone who has great experience so my hair looks flawless!  So I finally had a good friend mention her sis-in law and her hair always looks super cute so why not go for it?! I made an appointment for Friday which is amazing I didn't think I'd be able to get in before the 4th but I did! So ladies I need your opinion on 3  hair colors they are all kinda similar just a different shade/hue of blonde! Here ya go:

1. Of course my all time favorite gal. I like how this is bright blonde and it has a darker undertone with the light low lights.

 2. Holly's World anyone? I love love love this girl! She is so cute and spunky and this is the hair color I am mostly likely going to go with unless I get other strong contenders! Hopefully it looks as good on me as it does her!

 3. Hayden is gorgeous and I love the darkness this has to it. Its not a "look at me I'm a blonde bimbo" color either!

Here we are on another fantastic Tuesday Morning! At least it's not Monday right?!

Top 2 Things (not people) you would take to a deserted island 

1. Dogs are not considered people just ask my husband!

 If I took these 2 "things" I'd be happy and content with my life. I often worry that I will NEVER love my kids as much as I love my dogs. & the sad thing is... I'm okay with that.

2. Bottled Water 

I am very nit picky about the kind of water I drink. Its either smart, arrowhead, or dasani. I can't freaking stand tap water if it's not bottled I will not drink it!

So there ya have it! Now just thinking about being stuck on a deserted island sure the hell  beats out being stuck at my desk while the sunshine begs me to come out and play!

Weekend

Hey gaLs! Its Sunday afternoon and may I please just tell you that I have had yet another fabulous weekend with the love of my life! Friday night we went out to Chic-Fil-A my all time favorite restaurant and went & saw Grown Ups!

Seriously if you guys haven't seen this show yet its a MUST-SEE! We all laughed the entire time some parts reminded me of my father when he was a little boy! It was awesome! It wasn't dirty humor either just down right funny! We came home and fell asleep early and slept in till 11:30 Saturday morning! It felt so goood!

Saturday we went to a co-ed baby shower which was SO fun and it was decorated so cute! I think husband and I will for sure have one together when the time comes! :] Then later that night we went and watched the BEST fireworks in the whole city!

They were awesome! We went with husbands SIL, her hubbs and my babies (neice and nephew)! It was so fun! My nephew claims some of the fireworks looked like "boobs!" Seriously this kid is awesome! Here are some pictures of our amazing night!

Today we just got back from the pool and it felt so good! I love Summer time and every Summer spent with my hubbs and our family gets better and better I swear! I leave you with my sun kissed tan that most human beings are jealous of.

2. I CAN'T drink tap water! I refuse! I'd rather thirst to death BUT I love hose water? Weird?

3. I OVER LOAD my self with crap that I don't really need to do but I have the hardest time saying no to people! 

4. I'm too competitive for my own good and have a sick nasty scar on my left hip from a boy daring me to go down a GIANT hill on a longboard that I rode once! I won't back down! 

5. I cannot wake up before 7:00 a.m for the life of me. Can't do it.

6. I bought my first home when I was 19!

7. My mom and I are like Siamese twins I swear to you we are the exact same person same personality, looks, demeanor everything!   

8. When I go to the bar the bouncers have to check my i/d 3 times! Once to scan it, once for the bouncer, and another time for reassurement. Hopefully I enjoy that more in my 30s! 

9. I LOVE fresh fruit I eat it until the acid is eating my insides away!

10. I have an orange spot on my eye baLL. So somedays when my eyes are reaLLy blue you can see it. It's freaky! I was stung by a bee when I was 6!

I don't think I have ever bloggied about this! It's one of the funnest things during my week and I HAVEN'T shared! (tsk, tsk)

I coach a county track team Tuesdays, Thursdays and some Saturdays! Track is something I am passionate about and the kids are WAY too cute for their own good! I usually don't take a lunch at work Tues & Thurs and leave around 4 and coach until 6:30 or 9:00 if we have track meets! I swear I am running out of time in my day but I would rather be scorching, thirsty, sunburnt, and harassed by 5 and 6 year olds then sitting in front of the tube! Bonus is I get paid for it! :] Yuupp $9.00 an hour but Hey, Its better then nothing right? It's extra summer spending money and it's been nice to have but I definenatly don't do it for the money because I enjoy it too much! So I thought I would share this pic with you guys on my lil' track babies! They were doing a "Chicken Trap" not sure what that was but I think they forget that I am not into the new millennium language. As one of my 14 yr old gals would say "I'm so 90s!" Good thing? Maybe? So this is what most of my nights are filled with and when my chitlens win I sometimes feel a huge urge to want to cry because I am SO dang proud! Now I know how my mama felt when I never use to lose! ::insert sarcasm::

 Seriously love this mans freaking guts! He is amazing in every single way possible and has always always been here for me through everything. I may not want this advice at times but it always ends up right.

Even though he isn't a "real" daddy to a human being he is the dad to our little fur babies. He is the protector of our household, the glue that holds it all together, the handyman, the supporter, the hardworking driven one who makes sure our fridge is always stocked and that none of us are going without. Someday I know this man will be the best dad because he already is to our furbabies. He is so sweet and nurting! I will be so proud to have his babes one day! Love ya honey! xoxo

This or That

I have had a pair of Juicy Couture sunglass for over 3 years now! (safe to say I got my moneys worth!) I'm sad to move on but I will still have them as back up! I paid $350 for them and they are still good as new I'm just... well.. sick of them! Given I wear the cheapo ones that you get from Target but its not the same! So I'm hunting for a new pair! These are the 2 that I h ave in mind and I can't decide between which style I want to go with! I'm leaning more towards the aviator style BUT Juicy has a lil' bit different of a aviator style then the ones you will see below:

I love these Maui Jims. Hubbs has a pair and they have lasted him such a long time and if you need a repair they are always really good about it! So here is the 1st style that I like! Since I do have such a round face I think its safer to stick with these ones.

However...

I love these ones oh so much!

1. Purses they don't even have to be designer I just have an obsession with them! Its sick! I started my collection young, it consists of Juicy Couture, Coach, Dooney & Bourke, and Brahmin.

 2. My Blackberry. I'm a crackberry whore! I just love this thing! I feel naked when I do not have it with me! It keeps me entertained 24/7 and yes I do think I could in the Guinness Book of World records for text messaging! So there ya have it! Happy Tuesday!

Recap

Happy Monday Ladies! I had a wonderful weekend it was all such a blast! Friday night we went out to Squatters for my sweet mama's 29th (she would kill me if I posted her reaL age) birthday! I'm so grateful to be SO close to my family at the end of the day I know my parents, and my big sissy are ALWAYS here for me and that is so comforting I love them more then they know! After dinner sissy, her bf and husband and I went to this Frozen Yogurt place here in SLC called TopIt. Its AM-AZING!!

They have all the toppings my lil' heart can imagine! PLUS its non-fat so thats an extra brownie point for them!! Then we watched the movie Gamer with Gerard Butler (only reason I stayed awake) it was freaking CRAZY WEIRD!

Saturday I had my husband all to myself ALL day it was nice! We did the usual Saturday grocery shop, shopping, cleaning stuff etc etc. Then we had friends over for the UFC fights!! I'm so sad Lidell lost but I do think its time for him to retire! We stayed up late laughed, and had a great time!

Sunday we slept in went hot tubbing, bbq'd and watched the NBA game! Sooo glad Celtcis won! I can't stand Kobe Bryant I want to POP his head! We stayed up WAY past our bedtime for a Sunday but had such a good time with our friends and had the BEST bbq'd food EVER! Just ask my nephew:

It rained and crap all weekend long I'm SO ready for Summer to get here and to stay here! Hope you ladies had a wonderful weekend!

Thoughtless Thursday

Warning: If you get offended easily you may want to stop reading now. If you are one of those (ihavemyopinion&nomatterwhatyousayi'mright) kinds of people PLEASE don't read any further!

June seems like one crazy month for us! Actually ALL Summer is crazy busy! I enjoy being busy and being able to spend time with my family & friends through the summer but we are going to be BROKE by the end of it!! Let me just start off with a question that has been haunting me since mid Spring.

"Well are you guys EVER going to have children?!"

We get this question from everyone we know/meet. Just yesterday I received it from my boss because I am helping out in a baby shower for one of my colleagues. I got it when I drove my friend home last night, I get it from my parents, Rs family, friends, aunts, cousins you name it. My question back to them is... "What do you mean by EVER?" people I am only 21 years young and my DH is only 22!! (No offense to those with babies or planning on having babies young) It's just not for us. Growing up in Utah it is pretty stereotypical to start a family early. So yes I fit the stereotype when it comes to being married however, my parents are happily married going on 30 years now and they waited a whole 8 years to have my sister then 1 more year to have me. My mom was 29 by the time she was done having us lil' babes! Does that mean its in me to want to wait that long? Do I want to wait that long because I had an amazing childhood, because my parents never HAD to say "no" to sissy and I?

In high school I had 4 really close gf's well 3 of them now have 2-4 yr olds! How did I miss that? What made me stay out of it? So now that I am in my 20s happily married with a gorgeous husband and a house we just love is it time to have kids? R&I don't feel like we can comfortably say "yes" to that. Given finances, work, vacations, etc we LOVE doing all of those things together. Yes we are financially stable and yeah we could afford to feed one more mouth and still sit comfortably. I guess what I am trying to get at is "Is it wrong of me to be selfish?" Will I ever WANT to not be selfish? I'm starting to think NO. I have 6 baby showers this summer! 6!!! That is why I will be broke! BROKE NIGGA.

  

Soo... to my ladies out there? Should I not have kids because I am selfish? Or am I just too young to realize how great they are? It's not that I don't want them I just don't' want them now. Either way I think I am fine with. I always tell R that if we could not conceive I don't think I would try anymore or adopt. Its Gods way of letting me know I am not meant to have a child. Pshh... what to do what to do? I guess I still have at least 8 years to decide if I am ready for that or not. With all my gfs that are pregnant it has really made me step back and think about becoming a mama and I'm just not ready. AT ALL. That felt nice to get off my chest. Now.. the next person that asks if I'm EVER having kids may get a karate chop in the neck. Or something of the sort.

To show that I can accomplish anything I set my mind to and do marry the most beautiful man on the face of this earth.

3. If you could trade places with any person for any amount of time, who would it be?

I think my dad. He dealt with my mom, my sister and myself and he always did it with a smile and a sarcastic joke I just love that man and give him big props for all the girl hormones, hairspray, fights over clothes, and boys he had to put up with. Love ya pops!

4. What is your favorite kind of cake? If you don’t like cake, what is it about it that you don’t like?

Cake Cake Cake!!! I LOVE IT ALL!!!

5. Would you have wanted to live in your parents’, grandparents’ or great-grandparents’ generation or only your own?

My parents the 1960's was the coolest era EVER!!!

6. Do you have any home remedies for illnesses, cleaning or otherwise?

home remedies??? no thanks!

7. What is your ideal weather situation?

100 degrees no clouds in the sky!

8. What is your best attribute (physical or personal)?

I like to think my best attribute is my sense of sarcasm? Its good and its bad. I have a very mischievous smile which means sometimes people can't take me seriously put a dose of my sarcasm on their and I'm screwed for life. In all seriousness if you think I'm pulling your leg I'm definetly pulling your leg!  [:

9. Do you text or surf while driving?

I use too but now I swear to myself that I only will at red lights. I know that is till kinda bad but at least I'm stopped right?

10. How long have you known your best friend?

Ryan Daniel Barras and I have known him for over 3 years!

Weekend

(The Peak)

Hey bitches,

Its the end of a weekend and the beginning of a new week! I myself had a WONDERFUL weekend! I' am so grateful for my husband and my older sissy who is my b.f.f. Friday night R and I rented Valentines Day ate popcorn and gummy bears and just bonded. Saturday I got a little tickle up my ars and had the bright idea to go hiking. At first R and I were just going to do a little 2 mile hike up Big Cottonwood Canyon (by Brighton) and take it easy. However, sissy had other plans in mind so we bucked up and hiked Lake Blanche. It is a 6.64 mile hike and you gain 2700 ft in elevation it is a very strenuous hike but once you get to the mountain top it is breathtaking! There are 3 lakes up there Lake Blanche, Lake Florence, and Lake Lillian! It was AMAZING and so worth the pain I am feeling today!! I'm so glad R and I are in good shape and can just go up and hike such a beautiful mountain! If you are in UT I highly recommed this hike you can find info on it here! There was still a good 3 feet of snow and the lake was still frozen but we were so hott and so hungry on the way to the top the snow didn't even phase us! I was a lil' scared of sliding to my death but I did overcome it! I think I lost about 5 pds and gained it in muscle! Here are some fun pics to recap all the craziness!
