7 Months!!

Krew Arthur
7 months

Height and Weight: Basing this off of his 6 month well check 3 weeks ago, I would say he is somewhere between 17-19 pds. Probably 27 inches or so! He is such a chunky monkey to us because of his low birth size when he was born! It's too yummy!

Health: I wake up every single day thanking God for blessing me with a healthy happy baby. I cannot even fathom the thought of something happening to him. He is also getting in his 2 bottom teeth! You can see the right one is gonna bust through any dang day!

Sleep: He is an amazing sleeper! He goes down around 8:30 and wakes around 6:30. Lately he has been waking up hungry around 3:00 AM. That's okay, I put him back in bed with us after I fed him this morning. It was pure bliss. We snuggled and he woke up in the best mood!

Diet: Dude loves groceries! He is still going strong on Earths Best formula and solids. Some of his favorites are apples, sweet potatoes, and carrots. I need to start venturing into more "mature" foods!

Clothes: KMoney is wearing 9-12 month clothes! It is so sad. We made a trip to BabyGap to pick him up some cute Summer outfits! I love shopping for him way more than I like shopping for myself.
Baby Gear Love: Currently he is obsessed with the new tree swing we bought him. He cries when we take him out. It is kinda pathetic. He just sits in there and grins from ear to ear while we push him. I sit and wonder if he gets that funny feeling in his little baby belly!

Crying: He NEVER cries. I don't know how I got so lucky! Of course he cries if he needs something but that is seriously it!
Likes: His tree swing and his new swimming pool. His puppies, and his dada, and of course his Grandpa.

Postpartum:  I think I had a little set back this week. I took a 1/2 hour long hardcore abs class with my bestie this past week and can I just say I think I messed something up in my stomach! My itch to get back into shape has been taken to the extreme and I am paying for it!
Social: My little man is quite the chatterbox. He squeels with excitement and LOVES to hear his own voice. He is getting to be so fun. He follows me with his eyes everywhere and when I come home from work he is like a kid on Christmas! I love it so much!

Milestones: He is starting to crawl backwards! It's so funny to leave him in once place and to watch him and see where he ends up! He is so good with his eye/hand coordination too!

Hey dude,
I can't even begin to tell you how fun this stage with you is. You are so curious and such a little charmer. You smile at me when I get home from work and my heart burst into a million pieces! I love you so very much. You will never understand this love until you have a child of your own. It's weird for me to think Grandma loves me this much. Thank you for choosing me to be your mom and for being so understanding to me while I am venturing through this new mom thing. You seriously rock my world kiddo!

Love ya,
Mama

6 months!

Height and Weight:
Krew is weighing in at 16.15 pds and is 26.0 inches long! He has tripled his birth weight and the doctor is so happy with his progress! He is in the 50th percentile for weight and high 40s for his height! If you ask me he is a perfect little bundle of boyness!

Health: KDog is doing so GREAT in his department!! I am strictly feeding him organic formula and solids. This kid loves his groceries! He has a bit of eczema which totally sucks and drives me crazy! His stuffy sinuses have cleared up a ton!

Sleep: He is an awesome sleeper! We have a pretty good schedule set into place. He can sleep just about anywhere which is so nice! I owe that to me working and my awesome babysitters, it's easy to take him out of town because he still sleeps when scheduled! He goes down around 8:30 and wakes around 7:00. Sometimes on the weekends when the house is silent we can get an extra half hour out of him!

Diet: Like I said before kid loves his groc! He is eating 6-7 oz of organic formula every 3 hours. If is in dire need of a nap he will sometimes skip a feeding. We are loving Earth's Best solids for him! He is doing awesome with a spoon, this transition went a lot smoother than I had expected.

Clothes: I don't want to talk about it.
Seriously this subject is so hard for me. It makes me realize how big my baby is. He he wearing 9 month clothes. I am sure by the end of Summer he will be in 12 month. Some of my favorite places to shop are Target, Baby Gap, and H&M!

Baby Gear Love: He loves his bouncer and I feel like it has helped him learn to sit up unassisted a lot more. Also, Grandma bought him Scout the digital dog that you can hook to your computer to say their name and he LOVES it! He pretty much is down for whatever he can stick into his mouth!
Crying: Honestly, I am so so lucky. He only cries if he is hungry, too tired, or gets hurt of course.
Likes: Okay, my child is so happy sometimes I think he is going to explode. He like everything! He LOVES his Grandpa and dogs, baths, walks, standing up, apple slices, apple juice, my cell phone, I'm telling you there is not much he doesn't like.

Postpartum: I am doing GREAT! Finally into the swing of being a full time working mama, and raising my son the way he deserves! I have about 5 pds left to lose but I am working hard!

Social: Krew is so social lately. Especially in the morning, he is just so full of life! He coos, screams, and jibber jabers to everyone! I love it!

Milestones: He is getting really good at sitting unassisted, he now rolls from back to tummy, tummy to back, he loves to eat solid foods, and LOVES to stand up, he is getting really good at standing while holding onto something too!

Dear Krewzer/Max,
My first Mothers Day is coming up. I can't wait, you make this day have so much more meaning. Last year I celebrated a little bit because you were in my tummy. Mama can't even wait to celebrate this day with you in the world, in my arms. My little bug I love you so much I worry about you constantly every single decision I make everyday has to do with you. You are always in the back of my mind. Please know that I don't like to leave you everyday but in order to give you the life that mom had I have to work. I want you to have everything and more. I can't wait to see what the next 6 months has to offer us. I know it will be full of adventure, tears, happiness, and laughs just like the last 6 have been. My love for you is everlasting and grows more and more every single day. You are the most perfect being I have ever laid eyes on. I love you to the moon and back.
Love,
Mama

P.S. Never grow up.

5 months!!

Height and Weight: Based off of his 4 month well check weigh in I am going to say he is 15ish pounds!! Holy Moly he has tripled his birth weight! I can't believe my sweet baby boy is already that big! I remember syringe feeding him my breast milk!

Health: He is so so healthy. Every night I go to bed and thank God for blessing me with a happy healthy baby. As we have started foods he doesn't seem to have any allergies.

Sleep: He is in his big boy crib now! I sleep much much better. We use a video/sound monitor for him. He usually goes down around 8:30 and sleep till 5 or 3:30 he will up to eat than go back down till about 8!!

Diet: We still have him on Earth's Best Organic Formula but have been trying new purees for about a month! He LOVES sweet potatoes, carrots, apples, blueberries, and avocados! He just loves to eat! It's so cute! He is a messy little eater too.

Clothes: We only have a few size 2 diapers left so we are going through those than we will transition into size 3! He is in 6 month clothes and a little bit of 9 month but mostly 6!

Baby Gear Love: He is starting to be into light up toys a lot more! He still loves Sophie and is getting more use to cold teethers! (post coming soon)

Crying: He isn't a cryer. At all. If he is hungry he cries, sometimes I think he has night terrors and will cry but for the most part he is calm, cool, and collected.

Likes: His mama... (duh), He is such a happy baby it's hard to say what he doesn't like because other than peas there isn't much!

Postpartum: I think 5 months later it's okay for me to ask what's postpartum? :p

Social: Oh this kid can chat your ear off! About anything too, really. Strike about a conversation with the little guy and you are in for an ear full!

Milestones: He has mastered rolling onto his tummy! He gets so so mad when he can't roll back. He is also sleeping in his room in his crib and it's going great!

Friday

I haven't posted all week.

bad.

i know.

here's a pic to get you through the weekend!

4 months!!

Krew Arthur
4 months

Height and Weight:
We had his 4 month well check Tuesday & dude is 14.4 lbs and 24 1/2 inches long! The doctor was extremely impressed with his weight gain as he has almost tripled his birth weight! He was not a happy camper after his set of shots, he fevered all night and was over all fussy yesterday! I think his day with his Aunt & Grandma has helped him to feel better today!!

Health: Thank the sweet Lord for blessing me with a healthy baby. I am crossing my fingers that we make it out of this cold/flu season with only the small cold he caught from me back in December! We only have about another month maybe 2 of cold weather here in Salt Lake. He seems to always have a stuffy nose but I think he may be getting use to the dogs he is always around!

Sleep: We all sleep really well! Krew is still in his bassinet next to his mama but is quickly growing out of it! We had about a week where he wouldn't sleep anywhere but next to me in bed. That didn't make well and mama was really tired so we put him back in his bassinet. He sleeps 5-6 hours gets up to eat, than goes back down for another 3-4. I am SO not ready for him to be in his crib yet.

Diet: We still have him on Organic formula. He is eating 5-7 oz each feed about every 3 1/2 to 4 hours. Once this little dude is hungry you best feed him and you best do it now.

Clothes: He is rocking size 2 diapers, and 3-6 month clothes and SOME 6 month clothes. (i hate to admit he is that big)

Baby Gear Love: Sophie is still a hit and he loves his O'Ball rattle! The activity mat we have for him is also starting to become his favorite past time, and I hate to admit this but the dude loves the tube!

Crying: He honestly doesn't cry unless he needs something. Hungry, Tired, Sore, Bored etc.

Likes: The t.v, watching his puppies fight, his crib mobile and he has started to laugh. If you blow raspberries you will usually get a pretty good giggle out of him!

Postpartum: I think I am over my baby blues. (post to come soon) I still have about 10+ pounds to lose and plan on doing it before the first of June. My hair is still falling out and my body hates the Mirena. Some days I would just love to wake up at 7 am but be able to fall right back asleep until 11 or noon!

Social: Oh man. Krew is a social butterfly already, he will tell you stories all day long. He loves to coo and to hear a response from you!

Milestones: Krew is almost rolling over! Plus we get to start solid foods!! ((:

Dear baby boy,
You have captured your mamas heart. I love you so much dear son, talk about how fast time goes. If I could bottle up all of our special moments and keep them forever I would. I feel as though my heart is going to explode with love and I am so proud of how far you, me, and Dad have come. Summer is approaching and I can't wait for all of the fun things we have ahead as a little family! Love you so much dudee.

Here is a re-cap of the Barras life via instagram (surr_burr)

I've been rocking hats a little more than usual lately, all do to the fact that I am too lazy to wash my hair!
My 2 baby boys! I love this picture. Our little Gussie is starting to come around so much more and loves his brother Krew!
We took Krew swimming! He loved it! He didn't cry or anything he kinda just kicked his feet around and would 1/2 smile as we took him around the pool! Can't wait for Summer!

Can you say OCD? We traveled to Idaho this weekend to visit Great-Grandpa Barras again. I am a freak when it comes to Krew he has to have everything just so!
Mama needed a Rockstar to kick off the trip. I hate falling asleep and leaving the driving up to Ryan.
Cheyenne (5 months) Krew (4 months)
He look so big to me and was such a gentlemen to the ladies!
Dudes morning nap yesterday before we left. This kid loves naps!

Krew & Great-Grandpa Barras

Idaho was fun and I am lucky we are able to travel up to visit with Grandpa his health is declining so it's good to see him when we can! Krew is so lucky to have such an awesome role model to look back on!

Mornin' & Happy Friday!! ::throws confetti: It's snowy here in SLC which just makes this post that much better as I am so ready for Summer!! If you've been around this part of the blogger world you already know that Easter to me is like Christmas to most! I started on Krews Easter basket 2 months ago. Judge away! I have always loved this time of year, the birds chirping, the warmer mornings, the SUN!! Okay, I am making myself jealous. Can you say seasonal depression? Anyways, I figured I could share with my bloggies a little of what I am going to put into Krews basket. Of course I like to put stuff in that he "needs" and not just junk that will never get used. Here we go!

(left - right)

1. Baby Gap Swim trunks
Okay so we've already given him 1 pair because we were too excited to go swimming with him. He loved it! You can find both trunks .here.

2. Carters Cotton Zip-Up Jam Jams
We call pajamas jam jams at our casa, I love the cotton ones because they are light enough I don't worry about my little guy getting too hot. I have purchased some in 6 month size. I can't believe it!! The zipper is super easy for middle of the night diaper changes! I love Carters they are inexpensive and cute! .here.

3. Skip Hop Moby Bath Spout Cover
This matches his nursery theme! I had to have it! Plus he is cute right? Honestly though once Krew gets bigger to sit in the tub on his own I don't want to worry about his little noggin' hitting the hard faucet! What kid doesn't like rubber duckies in the bath? I remember I loved them! .here.

4. Toms, Sunnies, & Hat.
I decided to get Krew a pair of Toms in a size 4. He will eventually grow into them and I don't feel like you can ever have too many things for those days where your baby just isn't a baby anymore! I found them at Nordstrom. As for the must have Summer time accessories, I am really wishing Krew fit into flat brims but not quite yet so a regular baseball hat will do! You can find both .here.

5. Books Books & more Books!
What child can have too many books! There is no such thing! I like to stock up often on new books to read to my little munchykin. Of course, I picked Peter Rabbit & Dr. Seuss. I just found these at my local Costco!!

6. Food Goods
Seriously my baby will be 6 months at the end of April so what better time than now to get him some cute plates & utensils for when we introduce solids! (i am asking for the baby bullet for my birthday) I am really excited to see what he does and doesn't love and even more excited to be able to make my own! He is on Earth's Best Organic formula as of now so I think I will keep up with feeding him organics for the first year or so. You can find all of these goodies .here.
