Baby Talk: In My Diaper Bag

Today I am linking up with my cutest bloggy friend Kristin, for Baby Talk: In My Diaper Bag.
I use to love reading these posts when I was pregnant and still enjoy them to help me best judge what Krew does and doesn't need! So here is a sneak peek into our diaper bag on a typical day out!

diaperbag

I use a Dooney & Bourke purse that I received for V-Day from hubby last year. I am not all for a traditional diaper bag! I like to spice it up! (;

1. I always pack an extra outfit, whenever I don't is when Krew actually needs one! I also started packing our Organic Sunscreen and his rockin' Babiators!!

2. I always keep back-up burp rags, and for these cooler Summer days I like the Aiden and Anais swaddles.

3. I always pack Sophie & his monkey wabbanub. It's hard to pack a lot of toys so I pack the basics I know he will be entertained with it.

4. Aside from formula, and a bottle. I always keep a stash of the pouches in my bag and an extra spoon. He has just recently started liking puffs so I keep those on hand too. I am all for organic formula, food, and sunscreen if ya can't tell!

5. I like to have the changing pad though I don't always pack it, it's nice for the car or to put over the diaper caddies at the mall, plus diapers and wipes of course!

6. I also am so down for the Johnson's face and hand wipes I love them and they smell yummy! Also, I can't rave enough about the boogie wipes!

I try to pack as light as possible. We very rarely leave the house for more than 4 or 5 hours at a time so I keep the necessities with me! As he has gotten older it has been a lot easier to pack to leave the house!

Happy Tuesday!
Link up next week!

3 month Necessities

3 month

I love seeing other moms posting their idea of necessities and it helps me get an idea on what is up and coming for the next months with baby Krew so I figured I could do one and hopefully help some of you mamas out that are coming up on the dreaded 3 month mark. I say dreaded because all of a sudden my baby woke up and he was an infant. No more newborn. Just the other day I packed away all of his preemie and newborn clothes and husband put it away in the shed until our next little boy. (if God so grants) Feel free to email or comment me if you have any questions. I am no "baby expert" by any means but this is what has helped us get through the past month!
(left to right)

1. Fisher Price Rock n Play Sleeper
This is really nice because it is so portable so we can take it from Grandmas next door to the babysitters than back to Grandmas plus Krew loves that he can lie down and still be able to see everything! He must be in on all the action 24/7!
You can find it .HERE.

2. Adidas Baby Walker Shoes
These baby Adidas are the cutest freaking things ever. I actually got them at Nordstrom but you can also find them .HERE. They keep Krew's feet warm and they match with a lot of his clothes! Plus the velcro totally helps!

3. Fisher Price Whale-of-a-Tub
Little Krew seriously loves tubby time! He splashes around everywhere and I think it generally helps him to just relax at night. He likes to soak in the warm water! This tub is perfect and easy to set him in! .HERE.

4. Avent Natural Bottle
We switched from the Dr. Browns kind after Krew needed the next size up! These seem to do the job on cutting back the air in take for him. They are a bit pricey but isn't all baby stuff? You can find them .HERE.

5. Carters button up front pajamas
I love the pjs that button or zip up the front directly from one leg! They are so easy for middle of the night diaper changes when you are so flippin' tired you wished you had the money for a night nanny! Anyways, you can find them .HERE.

6. Vulli's Sophie the Giraffe
Not only is she cute but Krew LOVES her. Well so does our dog sometimes she gets mistaken for a dog toy! Oops! You can find her .HERE.

7. O'Ball Rattle
This ball. He loves it! It's so easy for him to grasp and he also likes to kick it around in his chair I would recommend getting one with rattles. He likes to make the sounds!
.HERE.

8. My Little SnugaBunny Swing
We actually had the Mamamroo for starters but Krew hated it. I don't know what he hated about it he just wouldn't sleep in it .ever. So we bought this swing for him instead and he takes most of his naps in it and sometimes just chills out in it for a half hour or so at a time!
You can find it .HERE.

I know a lot of gals that are first time mamas or have a bun still cookin'! I hope this helps you as blogs like this have helped me out a TON. I say try everything once, you will quickly learn what your baby does and doesn't like. & remember you are doing the very best you can with your little one! That makes you such an awesome mama! Keep it up!!

XOXO

Krews Easter Ensemble

Ya'll it's getting on my favorite time of the year Easter! Seriously, I LOVE Easter like most people like Christmas! Of course I scheduled a mini session for Krew to have his pictures taken and I have been obsessing over his outfit since so like a month! I can't even wait, now that I am posting this I guess I should have done his Valentines post first but obviously I cannot contain my excitement! I even have a cute personalized Easter basket ordered for him!

Mama's Wish List

baby gear

I am at it again. Blogging about all things baby Krew. I am such a sucker for this little guy already, feeling him moving around this morning after my dried mango's doesn't help any. I figure to keep this all in one place and be able to go somewhere to show husband what I have in mind may be a good idea. I think I will be back later in the week with some nursery inspirations I think we have finally agreed on some colors! We have a mere 122 days or less till he comes so we best get on this shit!

1. Graco Pack n Play Element Stages Oasis I know some people don't think I need this & a bassinet but apparently Grandma thinks baby boy needs a bassinet for his first few months in our bedroom so I will not argue with her I think they are so cute and perfect for babes! I want a pack n Play for various reasons, sleepovers a Grandma's, nap time in the family room, vacations, etc. I like this one because of the simpleness all baby really needs since we do have the Kolcraft bassinet!!

2. Timi&Leslie Diaper Bag I have had a hard time picking out a diaper bag. Since I am such a designer handbag whore it's been hard for me to realize I really don't need a designer diaper bag. At all. Plus since I am planning on returning to work I can still have my hand bags by day and my diaper bag by night, I still need something fashionable though. I love the look of this Dawn style diaper bag plus the color and I don't think you can go wrong with leather! The satchel strap is a plus too, hopefully everyone that watches Krew will like it too since it will pretty much be his day bag!

3. Aden + Anais I have heard so many good things about these swaddle blankets. I want the lights kind possible and the easiest ones to wrap Krew up like a burrito in. I will be registering for these fo sho!

4. Nap Nanny These seem very nice for nap times when I want/need Krew need me but don't feel like having him in his bassinet or pack n play! Perfect for shower time, chore time, or anything I need to put him down for!

5. ItzBeen My sister in law raves about her ItzBeen so I figure I best invest in one too! Whenever I do cook which is never I always forget to set a timer and never remember the time I put the cake in and it burns well I don't want this same thing to happen with my baby. It will be nice to have something to help me keep track of feeding times, breast position, and diaper changes! Especially late at night.

6. Sophie I have almost bought this so many times since we have been out but haven't bought much since people keep telling me to wait till after my baby shower! Hopefully this little guy sneaks into the shower somewhere if not I will go out and buy him for Krew. I mean if Krew doesn't like him at least he is cute right?

Let me know what you mamas think about my list. If I need to add/change anything or if there is something I am clearly missing that our must haves for you! I think I am getting my wish lists and everything in order finally! Thank you polyvore and blogger!

Happy Tuesday!

Nursery Must Haves

baby

By no means do I think I am one of those moms that knows everything about the best products for my baby, I only know what I think will work best for the 3 of us. Meaning, Krew, Myself, and my husband. I have put together a list of the nursery must haves I have picked out thus far, we are so grateful and blessed to have awesome people in our lives whom only want the best for baby Krew therefore saving husband and I $$ to spend elsewhere such as diapers, breast pump, clothes, and all the necessities that come a long with a newborn. My parents are being more then generous to their first Grandson. If you mamas out there have any reviews on the items I have posted please share I love feedback!

1. 4moms- Mamaroo I love the modern style of this. I love all 5 directions it is able to go tree swing, car ride, ocean, kangaroo, and rock a bye.  I think Krew will enjoy this although I am a little hesitant with how low to the ground it is because of our puppies and all but we will work out the kinks as they come! Plus, this was shown on Ellen it's got to be cool right?

2. Summer Infant Touch Digital Monitor I have heard so many awesome reviews on this monitor and found it cheapest on Amazon. If we do not get this from our baby showers then I am going to invest in it for Christmas seeing as though Krew will bunk with us in his bassinet for the first few months we shouldn't need it till we move him into this crib.

3. Kolcraft Bassinet I think I love this bassinet most because of the vibration, nature sounds, and glow light. Plus it's pretty gender neutral so we may use it for our next munchkin. Natasha over at http://www.hellohappinessblog.com/ raves about hers. Hopefully Krew likes it. I will like him being so close to me for those late night feedings!

4. Babyletto Rocker I am not set on that color scheme yet but I do know this is the rocker I want. I just picture myself falling asleep in that with baby Krew in my arms! It looks so comf!

5. Westwood Crib I love this crib for the simple style and classic look of it. I think it's perfect for a boy or a girl and will be versatile with any bedding we decide to go with.
